Can I use my 3 gallon air compressor to Airbrush?
I have a Dewalt 3 gallon air compressor that I use for woodwork. Can I use this with a smaller, hobby Airbrush? I would like to try Airbrushing but do not want to purchase the tiny air compressor if I can make the 3 gallon one work. Thanks.
Sure. You will just need to Airbrush very sturdy things, with a lot of paint. The overall effect will be quite different (more like you have thrown water-balloons of paint on the item than a real Airbrush effect) but you can do it.
You can be the Picasso of large-tank Airbrushing. Maybe you can call it “air-blasting.”
