Make Up Ideas

What are some make-up ideas that are natural but look good for a 14 year old girl?
Hello! ![]()
I wanted to know if there were any make-up ideas you had about simple looks! And if there were any inexpensive, good brands? I like crayon eyeliner, because I can actually put it on!
Thanks!
I’m 14 too! You said you wanted to look natural, so you’ll wanna get a light foundation. Get revlon colorstay active Makeup. It has light coverage but will even out your skin. Its also sweat proof and it stays on all day. Thats 12.99. If you have any other blemishes, use some concealer. I like Revlon colorstay concealer since it stays on and revlon has a wider range of colors. This is about 7-9 dollars depending on where you get it. If your face tends to get oily, i suggest putting on a loose powder or pressed powder. My face is really oily, i use covergirl trublend mineral loose powder. It keeps my ace from getting oily throughout the day. I like this also because there a lot of product and when you hit the light, you can see some gold shimmer so it gives your skin a glowing effect. This is about 6 dollars.
One of my favorite things are the physicians formula shimmer strips because you can use it as a bronzer, highliter, or eyeshadow.(12.99, i think) put on a bit of bronzer on the spots of your face that the sun hits, so your nose, chin, cheekbones, and sort of above your eyebrows.
The shimmer strips have like 6 colors in it use the lightest for a highlight, the medium color all over the lid, and the darkest in the crease. The colors in this are all creams, bronze, and gold so its very natural.
If you want, you can use blush, but not too much that its noticeable(like having bright pink cheeks) i like maybelline dream mousse blush, pick a colorl that best matches your skin. Instead of using my fingers(since its a mousse comsistency, i like using a brush. I use a bareminerals all over face brush, but i think its like twenty dollars(not sure, it used to be my moms), but at target, you can get an e.l.f. blush brush which is pretty similar(only a dollar) just dip the brush a bit into the product and sort of dab it onto your cheeks(if that makes sense). If tour face is more defined and angular, just put it on the apples of your cheeks. If you have a rounder face, put some just a little bit lower than your cheek bone and work it up to where your ear is. (i hope you understand)
For eyeliner, use a brown color. I don’t have any drugstore eyeliners except for the ulta automatic eye liner. So if you have an ulta near you, i really recommend them and they’re on sale right now for a dollar, they are usually seven dollars. Just smudge a bit on you top lashes
Then put on mascara on top and bottom lashes. I use covergirl lashblast(9 dollars). I prefer very black in waterproof since i feel it makes your lashes longer. Some people have a hard time taking it off, but baby wipes get it off very easily. I think covergirl definitely has the best mascaras.
Lastly, put on a nice medium pink gloss. Get either bonne bell liplites(2 dollars) or NYC liquis lip shine(also two dollars) you can get bonne bell only at walmart though. Bonne bell is more sheer, NYC is more pigmented, and they both smell like sweets. But any gloss is fine.
It seems sorta complicated, but with practice it gets easier. You can also find a lot of beauty gurus on youtube that will be able to explain this a lot better. I really like makeupgeektv, she has two tutorials for teen Makeup. I also like juicystar07′s back to school tutorial as well. And there are LOTS more. Youtube is very helpful, thats how i learned how to put on Makeup!
This is what i do but with different products(some things i use are more expensive) people dont even think i wear a lot of Makeup. It looks very natural and not too overdone! Hope this helps!
